On October 8th Nick Barrett visited Kasidit Toprasertpong’s laboratory (https://sites.google.com/g.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/mosfet/Main/eng) at the Electric engineering and information systems department of Tokyo University.

Following a seminar on the quantification of oxygen vacancies in different ferroelectric device architectures, more in-depth discussions have allowed to plan out further collaborations, notably to better understand some of the wake-up behaviour in ultra-thin films of HZO.

This will build on the previous experience acquired during the visit of Kosuke Ito to LENSIS lab in Saclay in 2025 and further exchanges are foreseen.
