LENSIS @ LEEM-PEEM

150 delegates gathered for the 14th international LEEM-PEEM workshop (https://www.leempeem14.org/) at Tokyo University from 5th to 9th October 2026.

Several talks highlighted progress in momentum imaging or k-PEEM, notably on 2D and related materials. Another strong point was the development of time resolved PEEM experienced using pulsed laser sources.

LENSIS was present with two contributions to an animated poster session, one on first results obtained by laboratory XPEEM on hafnia-based capacitors (cofunded by the French national project PEPR MicroElec), presented by Christophe Lubin, the other, presented by Nick Barrett and Lucia Perez Ramirez, on the effect of top electrode material (W or TiN) on the oxygen vacancy concentration in HfZrO2 based capacitors from experiments done at the MAXPEEM set-up at the Max-IV synchrotron in Lund.
