Eunjin Koh, Nick Barrett, Lucía Pérez Ramírez, Jacopo Remondina (IM2NP, France) and Thomas Cornelius (IM2NP, France) has completed an X-ray diffraction experiment at the DIFFABS beamline of the SOLEIL synchrotron (Saint-Aubin, France). The beamtime was dedicated to investigating the effect of electric field cycling on the crystal phase composition. Four laminate HZOs and one solid-solution HZO were manufactured by Athira Sunil and Ruben Alcala at NaMLab, Dresden. The nano-laminate HZO thin films have different layer thicknesses and deposition sequence to explore the correlation between the first layer, single layer thickness, phase composition and FE characteristics. The experiment was successfully completed thanks to the help of Cristian MOCUTA and the scientists of the DIFFABS beamline.
